this is swiss cacher team mirpets’ first geocoin. the main purpose of this coin is to say “thank you“ to all the cache hiders who offered mirpets about 2500 great adventures.
the coin shows the giant linden tree of linn, one of the largest trees in switzerland. (N 47° 28.252 E 8° 07.980)
the front side depicts a summer photo of the tree, taken by mirpets’ mirjam. the wording says “thanks” in german, french and italian (the three main languages in switzerland).
on the back, we see the branches of the tree, covered under a translucent color fill. there are four editions, one for each season. the coloring is made accordingly.
it took quite a while to develop this coin. the first batch is only 30 coins each season (sold out). the 2nd batch has some improvements on the spring and winter coin.
